SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Intel Corporation has announced the appointment of Dr. Naga Chandrasekaran as the chief global operations officer, executive vice president, and general manager of the Intel Foundry Manufacturing and Supply Chain organization. Dr. Chandrasekaran joins Intel from Micron, where he served as the senior vice president for Technology Development. His extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing and technology development positions him well to lead Intel’s efforts in this critical area.

Education: Dr. Chandrasekaran holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Madras, master’s and doctorate degrees in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a master’s degree in information and data science from the University of California, Berkeley. He also has dual executive MBAs from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA-Anderson School of Management) and the National University of Singapore.
