At Computex 2024, several Windows gaming handhelds were announced.

Here’s a breakdown of the notable ones:

  1. Asus ROG Ally X: This mid-generation model features an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, a 7-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB SSD storage, and an 80Wh battery. It also has redesigned handles, triggers, buttons, and sticks. Pre-orders are available for $799, with a release date of July 22.

  2. MSI Claw 8 AI Plus: The successor to the MSI Claw A1M, this handheld boasts an Intel Core Ultra (Lunar Lake) processor, an 8-inch FHD display at 120Hz, and an 80Wh battery. It offers faster processing speeds and longer battery life.

  3. Zotac Zone and Adata XPG NIA: These two handhelds were also unveiled at Computex 2024, but specific details are yet to be fully disclosed.
