NVIDIA is gearing up to launch its next-generation gaming GPUs, codenamed Blackwell, in the second half of this year. These GPUs are expected to target the ultra-enthusiast segment, promising significant performance improvements over their predecessors.
Simultaneous Unveiling, Staggered Availability
According to recent rumors, NVIDIA plans to unveil both the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards at the same time. However, their retail availability will be staggered by a few weeks1. This approach differs from the previous Ada launch, where the RTX 4090 was released first, followed by the RTX 4080.
