AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 Technical Preview Now Available in Counter-Strike 2

How Does Radeon Anti-Lag 2 Work?

Frame Alignment: Radeon Anti-Lag technology ensures that the CPU’s pace aligns with the GPU, reducing the amount of CPU work that gets queued up. This results in decreased input-to-display response times, making games more responsive.
Game Integration: Unlike the initial version of Radeon Anti-Lag, which was driver-based and available in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, Radeon Anti-Lag 2 is now integrated directly into the game code itself. It works in conjunction with CPU pacing controlled by the driver, allowing for better frame syncing. As a result, Radeon Anti-Lag 2 achieves even lower click-to-response latency than an in-driver-only solution.
Developer Support: Since Radeon Anti-Lag 2 is an in-game technology, game developers need to add it to their games. Counter-Strike 2 is the first game to feature this technology.
