Intel graphics driver 30.0.101.1404 update released with improvements

Intel has updated the graphics driver for Windows 11 and Windows 10 to version 30.0.101.1404.

As a highlight, it added support for Cross-Adapter Resource Scan-Out (CASO) to optimize processing, bandwidth and latency for hybrid graphics systems running Windows 11 on 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Other improvements are:
  • Minor graphical glitches in Far Cry New Dawn (DX11), Atlas (DX11) on 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.
  • Intermittent crashes or hangs in Resident Evil 4 on 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.
  • Benchmark ignores resolution settings in full screen mode in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (Vulkan) with Intel Iris Xe discrete graphics.
  • A black screen is observed on an 8k TV screen after setting clone mode with a 4k display on 12th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel UHD graphics.
The list of known issues is very long. Affects different games, therefore I’ll link the list.
